The Client
Nakd Wholefoods produce tasty and healthy snacks that are sold across the country by some the biggest names in retail. They approached us as they wanted to produce an advent calendar that would hold their delicious bars, along with a candle, to be sent to influencers, celebrities and a selection of lucky competition winners.
It was important to Nakd that the calendars reflected their fun, natural and eco-friendly branding and that the final product be ready within a very tight timeframe.
The Solution
In response to their tricky brief, the designers at Brockpac quickly got to work producing two different options of advent calendar for Nakd to choose from. They went with the option boasting beautiful printed full colour CMYK and folded card drawers with Pantone matched ribbons to keep the look of the calendar consistent.
The Design Process
The stunning calendar was produced using rigid cardboard in printed art paper for the main body of the unit and quality art card cleverly folded to form the robust yet lightweight drawers. To keep in line with Nakd’s eco-friendly ethos, we ensured the whole advent calendar was made from 100% recyclable material, once the magnets holding the doors closed is removed.
It’s important to us at Brockpac to let our clients know how their luxury packaging is progressing so we kept in touch Nakd throughout the whole process. Despite the tight deadline and an increase in the order volume part way through, we delivered the calendars right on time.
The Results
Nakd wholefoods were thrilled with the calendars we supplied and are delighted at the quality of construction and the materials used as well as the bold bright colouring that reflects their branding perfectly.
