The Client
We were approached by prestigious brand Hugo Boss recently to create a bespoke packaging box for a special coin pouch and USB stick. This box was to made exclusively for just twenty customers and had a strict turnaround time.
Our Solution
Our packaging experts at Brockpac worked closely with the client to understand exactly what was required from this project. As this box would be storing special gifts we decided on a Rigid Covered Base & Lid style.
The Design Process
The board for this box was made of 1.4mic recycled white lined board, and the covering used was Colorplan White frost label stock. We went with a 2 colour screen print matching the vibrant red of the Hugo Boss logo using Pantone and clear. This combined with the Spot UV effect on the logo made for a classy feel that reflected the brand itself and also the exclusivity of the product.
Our designers used foam inserts cut with thumb holes to fit the products and wrapped this rigid box in special colourplan paper.
The Results
The client was thrilled with the final product and it was delivered precisely on time. This exclusive product promises to be a fine addition to Hugo Boss’s portfolio and it was a project that we were proud to have had a hand in creating.
